What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content.

Why use RSS?

RSS allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the Palmerston North.com website.

How do you get RSS content from our website?

RSS content can be read using software called an "RSS reader", "feed reader" or an "aggregator".  Subscribe to one of our feeds by entering the feed's link into the reader or by clicking an RSS icon in a browser that initiates the subscription process. The reader checks the user's subscribed feeds regularly for new content, downloading any updates that it finds.

Where do I locate an RSS Reader?

Aggregator features are frequently built into portal sites (such as MyYahoo! and iGoogle), modern web browsers and email programs.
