Hancock Community House

Hancock Community House is home to 15 independent community organisations delivering social services, and includes a range of affordable, accessible meeting rooms available for the wider community to book.

Hancock Community House is managed on behalf of Council by Te Pū Harakeke – Community Services Collective, who look after the meeting room bookings, reception area and other day-to-day management of the facility.

Hancock Community House was established in 2011, and is named after local social work pioneer and ex City Councillor, Mervyn Hancock.
