  • Changing the existing 40km/h VSL on Mihaere Drive and Roberts Line to a 30km/h VSL.
  • Extending the VSL on Mihaere Drive further west to include the Kea Crossing.

Reason for proposed change

Existing 40km/h VSL changed to a 30km/h VSL and extended to capture the front of the school and the Kea Crossing, where there will be higher numbers of kids crossing during pick-up/drop-off times.

Covers the immediate streets around the school where there will be a high volume of pedestrians and pick-up/drop-off area. The average speed that people are travelling on these two roads is already less than 30km/h.
