This iconic 3-day event is all about celebrating the diversity in our community through sharing cultural cuisine, art, song, dance, rhythm, games and more.

It starts with a multicultural carnival and parade on Friday 21 February, followed by the World Food, Craft & Music Fair on Saturday 22 February, and Teas and Coffees of the World on Sunday 23 February.

Multicultural Carnival and Parade

Friday, 21 February 2025 | 5pm to 10pm

The weekend's festivities will burst into life with our Multicultural Carnival and Parade. The parade will celebrate global cultures as cultural groups proudly walk around Te Marae o Hine - The Square dressed in traditional costumes, showcasing music, dance and other creative expressions of their heritage.

The parade kicks off around 8:30 PM, setting the stage for an electrifying street party in Te Marae o Hine - The Square! Get ready to dance the night away as a DJ spins global hits, turning the main stage into the ultimate celebration zone!

It will culminate with a grand celebration on the main stage, bringing everyone together for an evening of lively performances and festivities. 

World Food, Craft and Music Fair

This iconic event is all about celebrating the diversity in our community through sharing cuisine, art, song, dance, rhythm, games and more.

Teas and Coffees of the World

Sunday, 23 February 2025 | 2pm to 5pm
Venue: Caccia Birch House

Join us for a unique cultural experience where you can explore and taste some of the world’s most iconic teas and coffees! Whether you’re a tea or coffee enthusiast or just curious about different cultures, this event promises something for everyone.

Come together in a fun and relaxed atmosphere to meet new people, enjoy delicious beverages, and celebrate the diversity that makes our community special.

This event is part of the Festival of Cultures, a celebration of our rich and vibrant community through art, music, dance, and cuisine.
