Free household chemical waste drop-off day

Get started on your Spring cleaning! Bring us your gardening, house, pool or car chemicals that are lying around your house.

We’ve partnered up with 3R to dispose of all kinds of dangerous household waste on Saturday, 7 October.

Accepted waste includes:

  • Chemical cleaners
  • Poisons
  • Insecticides
  • Brake fluid
  • Fuel
  • Chlorine
  • A full list of what can and cannot be accepted is available at the myhazwaste site.

You need to register and let us know how many products you want to get rid of. We’ll then confirm the drop-off time and location with you.

Please note, this is an event for Palmerston North residential households only.
