It's a tie! Annie’s Takeaways and Apollo Takeaways are two local legends that share the spotlight. Annie’s Takeaways, found at 166 Featherston Street, is praised for its "always great helpings". We can’t wrap up our fish and chip lineup without giving a shoutout to a couple other local gems. Ocean Pantry Takeaways was a close runner-up, known for its consistently fresh, delicious seafood and fantastic value for money. Another runner-up was Park Road Takeaways. They've earned a loyal following not only for their fish and chips but massive burgers and tasty wontons. Both spots are well worth a visit next time you’re craving some classic Kiwi comfort food!
