Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of our wastewater treatment plant to see how we keep the city’s wastewater flowing smoothly.

The tours are now fully booked but we have opened up a waiting list for Saturday 1 March.

Tour details

Each tour takes about 45 minutes.

Important information:

The wastewater treatment plant is located at the end of Tōtara Road, off Maxwells Line.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour to sign in and go over health and safety rules.
Covered shoes are mandatory.
We’ll provide you with a high-vis jacket to wear during the tour.
