Use the form on this page to request a new or replacement wheelie bin or glass crate for your household recycling.

We provide all residential properties in Palmerston North with an orange-lid wheelie bin for recycling paper, plastic and cans, and a blue crate for recycling glass. The standard wheelie bin is 240 litres. We can provide a smaller, 80 litre bin on request.

New bin or crate

If you've built or moved into a new home within our recycling service area, you are entitled to one wheelie bin and up to two crates.

Damaged or missing bin or crate

If you have an existing bin or crate that has been damaged or gone missing, please let us know. We'll repair your bin if possible, or provide a replacement.

Is the 240 litre bin too big for you? We can swap it for a smaller one that's easier to store and handle. Or, if you've moved to a property with an 80 litre bin and it's too small, we can swap it for the larger size.
