Speak at a committee meeting

For most ordinary committee meetings, the first half hour is set aside for comments from the public. There are some rules around this – contact Council's democracy and governance team for information.

If you wish to speak to Council on behalf of a group or organisation to make a presentation or bring a petition, you'll need to contact our democracy and governance team at least 7 working days before the meeting, outlining the issues you intend to address. Your request will need to be approved by the committee chairperson.

Email us at governance@pncc.govt.nz or phone 06 356 8199.
